Place Seperation:
This means, there are different places existing in the play (The In Play section is divided in several topics refering to different places).
For you as a player that means you should post your characters at the place they are at the moment. Usually, if you move to another location you have to mark that with tbc (To be continued), so that the other players can pursue where you character went to.
Usually to start playing you choose a place to start with your character.
Mostly, Place Seperation will be used for "open" threads, where lots of characters are concerned, just like a captain's meeting at the Seireitei Place... or the Highschool students being at the School in Karakura town.
An exception from the place seperation is the
Scene Seperation:
This means all characters being in one scene write until they withdraw, no matter whether they are walking /visiting several places during the post.
You do not have to move to another thread during a scene, even if your character does. Nevertheless, if a character leaves, it should marked where he's heading for with tbc as well.
Important is, that all Scene Seperation Posts that are started have to be entitled (like "A raining Morning" or "The captains' meeting"). In addition, you have to give the date / setting of the post: "Wednesday morning, third day after Aizens attack". This is obligatory, as we don't play single days, but rather periods of several days or weeks, so the players can choose which day they want to play and to give them the possibility to play different things at the same time.
You are allowed to have two open scenes per Character in the In Play area. This means your character can be In Play two times, but both posts have to be set at different points of the played period. (F.e. : One scene takes place right after Aizen's attack, the other one is set the evening after that.)
Is one of your scenes closed, you can start another one.
We will in time announce when we intent to move on in time, so there hopefully will be no break in play.
The scene limitation does not hold for the Shortplay - they don't count to the In Play section and therefore you may have as many shortplays as you like to in addition to your In Play posts (But remember time management - you should be able to handle that!)
